Bon East was a nice surprise during our visit. While a good Chinese is always appreciated these had a special twist by way of their Thai influences, and did a very nice line in seafood beyond the token prawn dish with squid ring sides you usually get. In this case several fish dishes, including a delightful monkfish and an equally enjoyable crab, complemented the otherwise well done Chinese fare. The vegetarian options were a bit limited, especially if you don't like tofu, but did well.

The restaruant was clean and the staff were pleasant.

If you are a local you probably already know it, but if you are just heading to London from Southhampton or Portsmouth then consider a quick detour.
